Starting an MSc in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence at the University of York

Hi everyone, I’m excited to share that I’m starting an MSc in Computer Science with Artificial Intelligence at the University of York.

I did the bravest thing I’ve ever done in my life 2 years ago when I finished my Law degree at the University of Greenwich, and turned down a coveted training contract offer to work full time as an AI startup founder. I had to learn so much in a very short time: how to decide what to build, talking to people about what you’ve built.

In those 2 years, so much has changed about software engineering, agents have taken away the manual effort of memorizing programming language syntax and library methods, leaving curiosity, clarity of thought and deep understanding as the things that matter.

I’m very excited to study computer science at a more foundational level with a renowned cs department to complement the practical experience I’ve gained as a self-taught dev and startup founder.

I’m taking my program online and part-time so I can continue to work in the industry and apply insights from my studies to my professional work and vice versa. I’m open to new roles on AI Engineering, Applied AI and Solutions Engineering. Please reach out if you are hiring.
